It stands approx. 25cm high. Teh stalk and the round base are made from oak, but i don't know what type of wood the actual block is made from. These vintage hat blocks are now very hard to find. I usde to have it on my dressing table, and every so often i would put a different hat on it. It made a pleasant display, which always brought nice comments from aquaintances. A niec öld world touch.
I am separating the hat block from the base for ease of posting. I have weighed up the options, and to leave it in one piece, the cubic size of it in a box, would make it an expensive item to post.
