Not soilde or scuffed up. Some age flaws, but nothing serious. The book is complete with no missing pages. Insieds are clean. No musty odors. Pages are not ripped, dry or brittle. All illustration in very good condition. Here si only light aging to the color of the paper along the outer edges(normal), but the paper is not dry. Mild age flaws to the covers, which, as photos show, have only mild wear, mild corner bumps, etc.
They are clean and the gilt si bright, stampings clear and very attractive. The front cover is attached with a bit of wiggle to the covers at the hinges. Spine cover is mildly faded with light to medium wear to the edges, (see pix) and has a paper stamp on it. The book has a library stamp on the title page and inside front cover, and had a paper bookplate pasted on the first blank page, that was removed. It is an ex-library book but is well maintained. The book does show mild age but even with the flaws it is still a great antique book and the contents will delight. Pelase ask if you have questions or concerns. I am selling the book as is with these flaws noted as best as i can describe them.
